It's Soup Weather...What's your favorite?

    It is so dang cold here in FL (34° right now) that I decided to whip up some homemade lentil soup which is one of my favorites. Also love, yankee bean and split pea with ham. What's your favorite cold weather soup?

    I mentioned this in another thread but I'm heating up borscht from last night. Friend of mine gave be a few gallons of his Mom's recipe and now I'm hooked it's goood stuff.

    My girlfriends sauerkraut chili. If I drink a few Dr. Peppers with it..... Well lets just say a Dutch Oven is imminent.

    A restaurant near me makes an unbelievable turtle soup. YUM!

    Hot and sour soup from this little Chinese place here in town.

    The building is a wreck and looks awful but the food is outta sight.

    Their hot and sour soup towers over all others that I have sampled.

    I agree! It IS cold here in Central Florida this weekend! Your soup looks great! We opted for Black Beans and Rice tonight. I love Chili when it is COLD like this but we made that last weekend!

    Did you see any snow flurries this morning? We missed them, I guess!
