    The holidays are over.

The fridge has been cleared of all holiday goodies and leftovers as are the cabinets. Finished off the last of the Marzipanstollen this morning. :)

The only evidence of the holidays is a jar of candy canes and a small bag of hard candy.

Now comes the January "food blues"... ;f

You might be right, "diet" meaning going back to eating smaller portions and a conspicuous lack of...

...pies, cakes, pannetone, stollen, crackers and dip, candy, chocolate...all the things that make December worthwhile. :)

Trust me: be good for a few weeks. Valentine's candy is just around the corner ;)

Seriously, I figure if I stick to a healthy diet all year, then I can have some treats at Christmas. First of the year, back to the healthy diet. :)

Yes the store shelves are out of canned tuna. Sure sign of diets going on.
