Yep, just dipped back below freezing here.

I like to visit cold places. I don't want to live in one.

Only going to get worse tonight.

Yeah, tonight is forcasted to be the coldest night of all of this. I mean, I live in San Antonio, gateway to the great southwestern desert. It has never been below 0(f) in recorded history here and we go years without a freeze sometimes....and a freeze here means it gets to 31 for a few hours overnight.

It almost makes me long for the 60 something days in a row over 100 we tend to have around here...almost....

The only saving grace is...well, it is San Antonio, next week it will probably be in the 80s.

Now, I live in one of the highest points in town but according to my little fandageled thermo-meter outside, the one with the golfer whos club points to the numbers, it be 29.

Not a panic but we go decades around here without having a 24 hour period below freezing.

Well, not really panic-ing here. But it did hit 22 this morning so that is a bit unusual for around here. And it only got above freezing for a couple hours.

You got to admit, this is pretty (insert most foul of language) cold for these parts.

We were at -5 with the windchill this morning in MS.

I noticed my dog now finds the first available spot to do her business, then quickly comes inside instead of her usual "take as long as you want" bit.

8 degrees at 6:00 this morning. My furnace can't take much more of this warming.

Hmm... it's a balmy 68F. with an expected low of 48 tonight. Strange how you're closer to the equator and are colder than I am... just sayin.

My digital thermometer said it was 29 degrees out side last night, too. All or most of my g/f's plants are turning brown and are prolly dead by now.

When I lived up in wisconsin, at work we'd stand outside in just our uniforms (no jacket, hats or gloves) just to see how long we could tolerate -20 degrees with wind chill lol.

To be fair, in a few months I'll be *****ing & moaning about how hot and humid it is down here :embarassed:

Well up here in WI our Govenor had to postpone his new Global Warming State Initiative announcement due to the snow storm -- some white outs. So good you couldn't buy this. Unfortunately he will still proceed.
