I am a full time student and not currently working. I chose not to work because In the past I tried to and it affected my grades too much as was too stressful. So far the past 7 months I have just been hitting the books real hard and living off of my savings. The problem is I am down to the last of it and there is still 2 months left of the school year. My overhead is fairly low, about 700 a month gets me by. I have been trying to push the thought out of my mind, but today its really becoming a reality that I might have to sale off one of my guns to get me through this last little bit. I have a walther pps which is my every day carry, and has the most sentimental meaning. A glock 26 with night sights which is my hiking, glove box, and gym bag gun. It to me is the coolest of my guns. Then finally I have a Glock 19 and an AA kit to go with it which is my beside gun, and my favorite gun to shoot. Trying to decide which gun to sale off is like trying to decide which child to get rid of. Which one would you guys sale if you where in my position?

I would sell the one that gives you the most $.

You can always "adopt" another gun after you graduate.

you can keep the G26 and get a grip extencion with 15rdn mag and still have a full size grip but able to CC any time needed, the G19 you can not make it smaller. I did have a G26 in the past onces I add the grip I could shoot it jsut as good as any of my 9mm Glocks.

Sell the G26. Keep the G19, you can always shhot for cheap with the kit

When people run out of guns to sell, we're in big trouble. Good luck.

I love the AA conversion. I put more trigger time in on that than anything else. They have also become very hard to get your hands on

Sell the 26. You've got carry covered with your Walther, and having the AA kit for the G19 is key for cheap practice, since you're on a budget. You can also mount a light to the G19...not an option on the 26.

Exactly Hogarth, I do have a light on my 19 as I use it for the nightstand gun.
Also I carry my 26 with a pearce grip extenion which makes the front of the grip as tall as my 19 so there is another reason to keep the 19. There are so many pros and cons to each gun.

Dump the 26. If later you want another one, you can buy one. Keep the 19 and the AA kit. Shoot it and carry it. The Walther... that's your call. One rule of thumb is to sell what you can buy later to get what you can not buy later. This works for guns. It also works for school. School is the priority. For better or worse, any common gun can be replaced later.

Many years ago, my grandad said, "A man that owns a gun should never go hungry."

I'm not sure exactly, what he meant by that but I suspect he meant a man could shoot his dinner or sell the gun and buy groceries. I seriously doubt his third option was, knock over a liquor store. But....

I think you picked the right choice.

Sell the Walther and the G26. You will need the money.
You basically own 2 very useful guns with the G10/AA. and it can be shot very cheap.

    DG,
The obvious choice is the G26.

Or see if you can make a loan from a family member.

Sell the 19, the 26 is easier to carry discreetly.

    This.

Also sounds like you have a somewhat emotional attachment to the PPS - and that's cool - but does it do anything the other two don't? The 19 is your primary weapon from the sounds of it; that's significant - as is the availability of cheep 22 practice ammo considering your financial status. If you're keeping 2, the 26 can be used for deep concealment if needed, and can use the 19 (or 17) mags for spares, which is big ups in its favor.

In reality though, it's proven everyday all around the country (world?) that a reliable, proven G19 is all any man really needs in a solid self-defense sidearm to safeguard himself and those in his care. My vote is, whatever else you do, hang on to the G19 - it's the most versatile weapon in your battery. JMO.
