You may remember a few weeks ago when I posted about my son foiling a B&E at my inlaws. The subpoena arrived today and I read through the envelope "appear with your minor child" and his name, and for about five seconds I COMPLETELY FORGOT about the entire incident, and honest to goodness thought he had gotten in some kind of trouble and didn't tell us. I mean, my heart sped up, I was getting tunnel vision, spots.

    It's like I punk'd myself!

This is so going down in the family lore. He's gonna  at me when he gets home.

That's not getting old, that's becoming senile.

I can't wait til I get to where I can't remember that I've read a book. As it is now, I will buy one and then start it and realize I've read it before. At least it'll all be new and I won't feel as dumb. :tease:

My wife came to me one day and said that she thought a couple of animals had gotten in a fight in her greenhouse because there was fur everywhere. I went in there and saw clumps of brown and gray fur laying on the ground and told her I thought maybe a couple of opposums had realy gotten into in there. I could have sworn that it was animal hair but she had played a joke on me and reminded me that she'd cut my hair in there the previous week and that it was my "fur".

Where I swear to something as gospel, my girl likes to play this game where she simply asks, "Oh yeah? What did you have for dinner night before last?" :dunno:

On the way to lunch today -

Just as we pulled up and parked - I remembered something important I needed to tell my wife - Figured I would wait until we were seated - but know things can slip my mind so --

I say - Don't let me forget - I need to tell you about ????

We get back in the car after lunch - I say CRAP I forgot to tell you ???? at lunch - what was it I needed to talk to you about?

    She did not remember either.

That was 6+ hours ago - I still can't recall WTF it was -

Hopefully by tomorrow I will have completely forgotten about forgetting.
