Well, I've been at FLETC for a week and I'm going home due to an injury. Hopefully I'll be back soon. It's a real pity I was just starting to get to know my class mates.

What happened? No big if you don't wanna discuss. 2 guys that were in the class at the academy with us (they were one week ahead) were out by end of week 1, one with a torn Achilles and one a torn quad. Both happened during pre-PT stretching.

Not directly BIA but in their academy. I damaged my knee and the recovery time is too long to continue. It sucks but I'll be back. Stronger and wiser.

Sorry to hear of your injury. An officer on my shift left USBP because he was sick of being in a nasty hardship duty area. Now, he wants to go back but he has to go through the academy again. That is my nightmare! I still have bad dreams of my USMC bootcamp so I bet it will be difficult to get back in shape and in the right frame of mind to go back. Good luck and get well soon!
