Is this norm? NY1 Trigger issue.

    I installed the ny spring with 3.5 connector. Now i cant remove the slide without having to pull the trigger while removing the slide. Normal?

    That is normal for the NY-equipped pistols.

    Yes, the ny1 spring pushes the trigger bar up so the sear catches on the slide cover plate...

    That is not true. My job had over 6000 Glocks in service with the NY Orange trigger. Once in a while had to pull the trigger, not all the time. It may be due to the connector you have installed.

    I'll put the old one in and check. It is a Glock OEM connector, I would hope its not that. It does look like the spring is pushing the trigger back up. Now when the trigger is pulled on an empty chamber the trigger returns quite a bit instead of staying back.

    But ... but ... but I put NY1 (grey) spring in my otherwise stock carry Gen3 G26 and have had to pull the trigger every time I go to take the slide off. It will not come off otherwise.
