What site is that? I’m hesitant to click on any link I don’t recognize.

Different laws in different states or the feds. Usually, if they do anything more than just planning or talking, it becomes a conspiracy. So if they planned some type of attack and then purchased maps or weapons or vehicles or communications equipment, then it becomes a criminal conspiracy. Probably purchasing airline tickets to bring in other members of the conspiracy would be enough to make it a crime in progress.

I know nothing of the size/validity of the site under discussion. None the less, if this is a "legitimate" site, then they have put themselves on the radar for government surveillance.

Please understand, it is the responsibility of our government to deal with extreme groups such as the one in question. I am sure they will engage this group, in some manner of surveillance.

We currently have 2 confirmed fake propaganda threads that the less intelligent are still clinging to.
Are we looking at a 3rd?

PJ media is a right leaning political website. Advocating armed insurrection against the US government is illegal, but getting an indictment is going to be very problematic and a conviction even more difficult, given the near totality of thought under the current interpretation of the First Amendment.

Pjmedia is a legit website, as far as I know. I’ve read a few articles from there that appeared on Drudgereport.
