I've been watching Storage Wars on TV where people bid on unclaimed storage units, so I thought I'd give it a try.

I bought one that had some old reloading equipment, a few old gun cases, a rusty model 12 and three of these glass balls.

I was juggling them and dropped two, but I still have one left. I know in the old days trap shooters shot them so I thought I'd see if it had any value?

It says " Bogardus". Anyone know what it's worth?

A complete set of three, maybe $2500 - 3000. Just one by itself, not much.

But seriously, you screw around and break two and then ask if it's worth something? :tongueout:

Funniest part is I believe there is an episode where he actually bought a few of these glass trap targets. Don't remember the value however.

You BROKE two before doing any research at all!? Good luck with the storage salvage business. Drop a line when you find some Tiffany, I don't know why but I have a soft spot in my heart for that old crap. :whistling:

There's a bogardus ball on ebay right now asking $1000.00 or best offer. Go to ebay and enter: antique bogardus.

Weird, I was just juggling the gun that killed Hitler, the gun that killed JFK and the gun that was used to kill Lincoln. All I have left is the JFK gun after dropping the other two. Were they worth anything?

    No doubt.

Sounds like there were tons of these things though, I really wouldn't think they would be worth THAT much to most people.

So I did a little more research. There was some writing on the bottom of the ball, and when I looked at it under a magnifying glass it said:

    APRIL FOOLS SUCKERS !!
