I am trying to pick up an exteded slide release for my Gen3 Glock 19 because mine is worn off and getting smooth. All I can find is for a 3 pin and it says it doesn't fit any others.

Pic:

It's serial number shows that it was made in 1994.

Yes, this is a 3 pin Glock. Two pins (added locking block pin) just rearward of the bar, and one pin for the Trigger Housing unit in the grip of the frame. The extended slide release will fit just fine.

Yes it's three pin. But the 2-pin G19 actually uses the same slide stop as the 3-pin G19. The rest of the 2-pin models are the ones that require a different slide stop.

If you're getting the factory extended slide stop, Glock part# 7496 is the one you want. All factory slide stops have a different number from the part number stamped on the slide stop itself, so as long as the part# is 7496 on the order invoice you're good to go.

Your pistol was not made in 1994. The Gen3 fingergrip frame did not appear until 1998, and the 3rd pin in 9mm pistols until mid 2002.
