As far as I know all the Gen5's are being made in Austria, please correct me if I'm wrong.

A friend told me that a dealer told him that he is waiting for the new 19X made in the USA???
He offers him a better price but the gun comes only y with 2, 17 round mags and no night sights?

    Is this real?

    Thank you.

There are rumors of a black 19X coming this fall.

Perhaps that is what he is talking about.

I'm holding my breath on the black 19x. the Rumors that I've heard are that it will have the G17 length grip but that it will have the dumbass mag cut-out. That's a deal-breaker for me. the G19x was perfect because it was the only gen 5 except for the G26 that had NO finger grooves AND No mag cut-out.

If the Black G19x has a mag cut out then I'm going to have to come to grips with the fact that some one at Glock actually hates me and it's not just paranoia on my part.

A black 19X would be cool.

I only buy Austrian Glocks though (other than my G42).

Yep, why I'm glad I've come to accept and love the coyote baby poop color.

Though I have since also realized the cutout on the 17 doesnt bother me. The different baseplates annoy me though, I'd need to replace those with standard gen 3/4 ones.

I wish my 2 Glocks were USA made, I prefer them that way. My Gen.5 26 and 43 are both Austrian. When I got my 43 recently I assumed it would be USA made like the 42 I traded in, but I was wrong. Nothing against the Austrian Glocks at all, but I would choose USA if I had a choice. If my 43 had been USA made then maybe it would have the smooth trigger.

I read an article by a gun writer who got to tour the USA facility and apparently there is absolutely no mechanical, dimensional, machining or finish difference in US or Austrian pistols, other than markings. All the machinery and CNC machines come from Austria, are run from Austria, all the tooling is monitored for wear from Austria, everything is totally monitored and controlled from Austria. For all "intensive porpoises," the pistols are exactly the same.

Heard the 19x will be available by October. Not a fan of the baby poop brown.

There's nothing I'd change with the 19X. And I absolutely love the coyote tan frame and gold slide.

    We just picked up #4.

I would question the validity of that simply because of the two magazine deal. Glock provides three mags with all the 5th Gen pistols. Why would they only send two with this supposed new USA 19x.

Unless your buddies dealer is removing one of the magazines before he sells it to your buddy...Not like that has happened before.

This would be a horrible marketing decision by Glock, and marketing is one of their strong points.
