Is there an IWB holster that a glock 26 will actually clip into such as the OWB Blackhawk Serpa does?

I am not aware of a IWB retention holster. A good leather one will usually grip so tight they are hard to draw from.

and how would you release it with the holster in your pants?

    IWB holsters provide enough retention.

You might have to get something with a top/thumb opening latch like the Safariland ALS.

I don't know of a specific model # so you'll have to look around on their page.

I have Serpa holsters and when I got the ALS I didn't find it difficult to transition to the different security system.

Safarilands are very nice holsters. They have suede lining which is a top priority for me so the finish on my guns don't get torn up! They also have the retention screw on there OWB holsters.
Milt sparks makes very nice IWB holsters. Its got to be either leather or suede lined holsters for me.

Those Blackhawk serpas have had there problems with acc discharge and or problems getting gun out

The N8² professional model has retention. You have to twist the pistol slightly in toward the body to draw. I love mine. Been wearing it all day for 2 months now.

    Here you go.

Leather with thumb break. Unfortunately they don't come in black.

with a thumb break you NEED to be aware that catching that piece of leather in the

trigger guard when you reholster will make it go bang.

Desantis Dual Carry has thumb break and works very well. Can also be worn on belt.

some serpas are passive retention and some are active retention

i think the typical is active... with a thumb button

mine is passive... it clicks in and you can adjust the tension to draw... but you dont have to do anything when drawing besides have the right angle and give it a firm tug

Any kydex IWB holster will do the same or better - normally the gun clicks right into place.

Forgot this one. Duh on me, since I own it.

    From Galco:

SC2 Summer Comfort with Thumb break. I have the G19 version but I use it with my G26. The slightly longer holster body length adds more carry stability IMO.
