With so many members here its bound to happen every now & then
Make sure you don't have any spyware or adware on your computer. works perfectly for me.
I'm no tech guru, but......huh?
Like jcm3 said, you probably got spyware installed on your PC somehow. Download AdAware or Spybot(or both), update them, then scan your PC. That should fix your problem.
I have trouble reloading a page sometimes but thats about it.
Im no tech guru either really, but Im required to play one at work everyday if I want to get a paycheck.

Heavy load = Weird things happening.

Try these to search for spyware on your machine:
Make sure you tell them to update before scanning so you get the latest configs for finding spyware..

I was unable to connect from 11:15 till my lunch break at 12:00. PST
Pacificas connectus interruptus - yep, that's around the time period things were headed south for a short while. (Note: I'm not a GT net admin, just happened to check some of this stuff from my midwest location - YMMV.)
p.s. but better now so we can probably stop posting about it.
If you believe you may have a problem with spyware, but aren't a "techie", (I'm not!), you can get some help at this site:
The above link takes you directly to a page with info on dealing with "Adware" or "Spyware" which may be leading to some of the problems?!? It could be entirely unrelated, (busy or gremlims....they happen)? But if you're not sure check out the link, it offers easy to understand fixes!
Also the above links home page is of course:
Kim not only has an easily understood site, but it is full of useful information. You may have heard her on her syndicated radio show. It's a good site for those of us less initiated computer users!
