I bought a set of Warren steel sights to install on my AA .22 conversion kit. As I started to install the rear, apparently it went on a little off-kilter. I don't know why or how, but I definitely wasn't paying enough attention. I guess because the aluminium slide is softer that the steel sight, it made a small gouge in the slide. Enough so, that when I took it out and tried to reinstall it, it falls into that gouge and won't install straight.

    Hopefully that makes sense.

Is there any easy fix for this?

Try installing it from the other direction. This time be careful to have it straight and go a little at a time.
