Is the price alittle too high on this Glock 19 RTF2?

Hey guys, I went to my local FFL, and they had what I've been looking for, for over 3 months. Its a Glock 19 RTF2 w/ rounded serrations on the slide. I love the rought texture frame, it feels like it catchs my hand real good. Now, since its rare to see this now since they've been discontinued with the rounded serration since Jan. I willing to pay the $560 they have it priced at. I already have 1600+ rounds of 9mm stocked away, and I have the necessary accesseries for it. So all I need is the gun now. Do you guys think $560 is abit pricey for this scarce Glock 19?

    Thanks :wavey:!

That's too high for my area her in Texas. 499 is about the norm. 520 at small dealerships.

The cheapest one that I have seen around me is 535. I guess you can grab it now for a couple bucks over, or wait and hope you find one cheaper.

from the gun shops i have been to, in ohio, new gen 3 glocks go for around $520 - $530 Dunno about RTF's but i would guess more than that, so i think thats a decent price.

$440 at the last 3 gun shows here in TX I went to. Also, lots of fish gills were there, so I don't think they are rare at all. That said, if that's a decent price in your area, go for it.

It's a little high but not too far out of line. If that is a normal price in your area and it's the only one around I would get it.

The RTF's cost the dealer exactly the same as the regular or OD models. If it's what you want and it's right there I would jump on it. With the price of gas or shipping you would waste a lot of any savings you may get by shopping any more for it.

And just what is being a GSSF member going to do for you at GT Dist? These are priced at LE prices. Regular citizens cannot get thiese prices according to their rules posted. They are further restricted to residents of OK and TX, you must meet their restricted criteria and you must pick them up in person. Where you able to get one there at that price? I guess I'm asking, what is their GSSF price?

Unless you are willing to transfer from an out of state FFL than go for it. It is going to get harder and harder to find a RTF2 19 with round serrations. But think about joining GSSF not just for the discount but their matches. If buying from a FFL that needs to ship it to you make sure to ask if it has the round serrations if you want them. My friend liked my RTF2 with round serrations and ordered a RTF2 from out of state and forgot to ask if they had them and they had the straight serrations instead.

GSSF gets you the Glock at LEO pricing. It is no longer $398 but $425, call GSSF or Glock directly for a dealer near you. The new pistol program no longer requires the purchase to be made at LEO only dealers. If you went through GT Distributors it would be $35 (GSSF Membership) + $425 + Shipping + FFL Transfer fee = not much of a saving maybe tax, but call GSSF chances are there is a dealer close to you so you can save on shipping and transfer fees. http://www.gssfonline.com/GSSF_Pistol_Purchase_Program_Information.pdf
