I think he is right, my G35 has a lightened slide, when I used in USPSA shooting 5g of titegroup w 180's to cycle.
So Im sure NOW with full power loads, and even with a 20 lb spring, it's still hard on the gun.
By full power, I mean "Bear Loads", 200g Montana out of the 6.2in KKM at 1277 fps. using 800x
More snappy than my buddies G40 10mm (6.5 in KKM) shooting the same 200's at 1320 fps.

A small 2 port comp would slow the slide speed down and prob fix the problem.
Always makes me laugh when people stress over whether or not their $500 pistol will live long enough to shoot $12,500 worth of ammunition……

Yup, max loads are hard on any gun. Over max loads, harder still. My g35 happily runs 180 minor loads with 3.3gr of WST & stock springs.

Guns are cheap, ammo is expensive.
