Soon they will ban 90 degree angles because they are too pointy.
This is one of the less stupid rule we have to live with .
If there is a stupid rule the UK will implement it .:embarassed:
All hope is lost
Globalism at its finest.
why don't they just ban PEOPLE....except for the Holy Queen and her Holier-than-thou court....
just get rid of all the peasants and the country will be perfect....no need for laws/bans....
If were not careful that will happen here.
Wow, I think the attitude in Britain toward anything gun related is even more radical and emotionally charged than even the Brady Campaign and other anti-gun groups here. They have mystified firearms to the point where people can't even encounter a .22 round without panicking and calling the police and bomb squad.
Anyone remember that story? Someone over there found a .22 round in the gutter outside his house so the police had to come in, block off the road, then call in the bomb squad to dispose of it and then they launched a full on investigation into how it got there.
I don't think anyone in the U.S., even someone who knows nothing about guns and has never been around them. would freak out over a .22 round. Even if someone did call the police, it would just be one cop that would show up, pick it up and leave.
The UK is beyond saving. Tax on physically having a television set plugged in, and people monitoring for law-breakers?
CCTV cameras everywhere, that talk back to you?
Nanny state cubed. No ****ing thank-you.
Hey, just the other day the queen in waiting had photos of her jubblies posted in several magazines/newspapers.
What I don't understand is that I've met plenty of completely reasonable people from the U.K. and I just can't understand how it's gotten so bad over there? Are there not enough of you to vote these busybodies out of office? Or maybe you do vote for the one you think will turn it around, but they just forget about their promises once elected? Help a Texan undersand? I'd love to see the U.K. pull back from the brink. I really enjoyed the time I spent there.
in another 30 years it will be under sharia law anyway.
With the way things are shaping up that whole country is going to get caught with their collective pants down. (Again)
It seems like a perfectly reasonable law to me.
If you are scared of yer own shadow....
You do know they are just figureheads and have no real power. It's like *****ing about Bill Gates because he is rich. Lets get rid of all the non nerds and we wont need linux!!
fixed it for ya
Well, you could always immigrate to Texas, naturalize and enjoy the benefits of CCL, and some of the best gun laws in the United States.
