Was thinking of ordering some just to try. Is it still being produced? If not, when was it stopped?
Still on their website.
$1 a round.
I have not had any in stock in so long I forgot what it looks like. As far as I know it is still under production.
I use to CCW this, now 124+p GD, but I would have no problem if that was all i had.
I'd like to try some of this ammo because I've read so much about it, but at that price I think I'll pass.
If it's still in production there will be better opportunities.
I have to use this in my sig p6 I would use it in my other pistols if I didnt have other ammo good load long history
Did you miss my post directly above yours???? .38 cents per round.
I thought Speer & Winchester also still offered their 115gr JHP +P+ loads, but I didn't see the Rem 115gr +P+ JHP on their LE website. I think I may still have a box, maybe two, of the Rem version somewhere in my ammo collection, but I recall using most of the last case of it I came across for range ammo.
My guess is he posted his reply to the OP before reading all of the posts. Ask me how I know? I've done it more than a time or two.
No, I did see your link and thanks for that. I added that site to the list I have for online ammo.
I've decided that for my next ammo purchase I'm going to buy some bonded ammo.
I bought another 500 rounds from Streichers a few months ago. I have a BHP that shoots the 9BPLE better than any other round I can find. From what I can find in research, it seems to have a good track record, even though it old tech.
I have some for my G19's and 92fs. If im not mistaken the Illinois state police used it when they were issued 9mm's.
Ya, I keep some around for my P7M8 &M13. They just like it better than Speer 124+p GDs, that my Glocks and Beretta get.
I was going to order some of this from TDS since the price was right but, they lay the wood to you in shipping and handling. Ends up being nearly as much as the cost of the ammo.
All the online places seem to charge $15-20 minimum for shipping. Gotta order multiple boxes for it to make sense.
15-20 depending on your zip code is the average price of shipping 500 rounds of ammo.
I like it but getting harder to find.
State of the art in the 1980's. I still have a few boxes left with price tags that say $12.95 for 50 rounds from the early 90's. Accurate and reliable with a good track record for stopping the BG. It never failed to feed in my HP, S&W 6906 and of course my G-19. You can styill find it around if you search the web. Today I use Gold Dots and Golden Saber but would not feel I was at any disadvantage if I was carrying 9BPLE's.
I was mainly interested in these at $19 a box for a long term stash. Beats $25-30 for Gold Dots, HSTs, etc.
