It's not just a southern thing. I've eaten both as far north as Canada!
I don’t know about the peanuts but pecans and candy corn taste somewhat like Southern pecan divinity.
If you find yourself with a bag of candy corn, look in your refrigerator for a partial jar of mayo or Miracle Whip. Add the candy corn to the jar.
You have just done your part for the enviroment by combining two nasty substances into one compact unit thus saving a little landfill space.
I love the stuff but I'm from Kansas where everything is ass backwards.
Just asked the wife about it, she knew about it/has had it................and she likes Payday bars too.

As somebody above said, peanuts in Coke are delish.
I don't care for boiled peanuts, but Daddy loves them, especially the spicy cajun flavored ones.

Never heard of that mixture before. I do like roasted, salted peanuts. I ate alot of candy corn growing up especially around Halloween. I rarely eat it now. It's like eating pure sugar. I wonder if the companies that make candy corn are owned by dentists.
Sold at high school football games and along the shoulder of state highways throughout the south.
Not to mention diabetes and obesity. Thanks but no thanks.
