What was $33 a month and now is $19 a month? Your cell phone service?
I’m going to guess his phone payment was $33 a month. He upgraded and his phone payment is now $19 a month.
Phone payments.......huh. Didn't know there was such a thing.
Using the word "free" is kinda silly.
correct.. so actually my complete bill will be slightly cheaper a month with the new phone than with my current phone.
They are interest free installments over 24-30 months that you can pay off at any time. These payment plans are in my opinion, the reason phone prices are getting higher. I don’t think a lot of people look at the price of the phone. Just what they pay each month.
My wife and I upgraded to the iphone XR from a 5S at the beginning of the year. I was concerned about the "no home button" but it wasn't an issue at all. I forgot all about that button in the first 15 minutes of using the XR. My biggest gripe is the size. I much preferred the size of the 5S because it fit my hand. The XR is a good bit bigger but it wasn't a deal breaker.
No, but neither do most current phones.
Give up the skinney jeans!
J/K. Cell phones are getting rather large these days.
Just to be clear, if it's either 24 months or 30 months of "phone payments", that's either $456 or $570 you're paying for the phone. And you've been saying you're getting it "free" because you paid $33 a month for so long on your last iphone, so add in how many additional hundreds of dollars?
Like I said, there is no such thing as free.
I purchase older generation phones in cash to use, and haven't had a service contract for years. My service provider treats me beautifully, because I can walk away at any moment. That makes worlds of difference.
In the future you might consider doing something similar. It's cheaper, and you get better service.
good for you.. would you like a cookie??
I never said it was free. I just clarified the monthly payment portion.
As far as going contract free. Sometimes deals present themselves, and require a commitment. For example, Verizon is giving me $500 for my iPhone 7+ in the form of 24 months of statement credits, in addition to a $200 card per line for switching. My iPhone 7+ is no longer worth $500, and I am effectively paying the same per month for the plan. So, I am getting $700 per line, on arguably the best service available(not that AT&T isn't close), on the latest iPhone. Actually since I no longer have to pay Apple for Apple Music because it's included in the plan. My monthly bill drops by $15 a month.
The price I saw for the case was $50. Not sure how much the glass was; my wife bought it all with the $200 store credit, and whatever was left went towards the phones. I’d recommend looking on Amazon or wherever before buying in the store, though; only reason we did was, well, store credit.
Loving this phone, though! The picture quality of me resisting Dunkin Donuts’ secret liberal plot to turn us gay by making rightfighting patriots like me grab the D is outstanding.
I'm still flipping .
I’m still rocking a 6s+ so it might be time to upgrade
Have an X and have an upgrade. Really don’t feel the need. But if I do, midnight green all the way
My wife broke her phone in July and got a new XR. They had a BOGO deal with the get one free up to $750. I got a XS for myself and paid $250 for it so I got a good deal on that. Kinda jealous of the new 11 pro though.
What does the new one have that would help my life? I understand the camera is supposed to be better but what else is worth it over a 7?
A bigger screen, faster processor, probably more storage, longer battery life, no home button, water resistant, better display, facial recognition.
OK, OK, my bad - Face ID.
