This has happened to me in months past, and again twice tonight, even while trying to log-in to GT.
When going into FoxNews or Newsmax, after about a minute, IE "on its own" backspaces to the previous page and eventually back to my home page from when I first opened the browser.
I've done all the hackware scans, and keep my security software up to date.
Any thoughts on this, or am I the only one?

Mine sometimes goes back two pages instead of one when I hit the back button, and the same going forward. I've made sure I'm only clicking it once. It just happens sometimes, not all the time.

Also, my favorites periodically rearrange themselves alphabetically. Sometimes I move a link to near the top of the list, and a little while later it's moved itself to the bottom while nothing else has changed.

It's probably just something simple that I wouldn't know because I'm computer illiterate, but I prefer to think my computer is possessed. Makes life more interesting.

Yes I am aware of Adaware and S-S&D amongst others. All clean. WinDefender all clean. I have software and hardware firewalls running, nothing looks out of the ordinary checking the logs.

Check and make sure your backspace button on your keyboard isn't sticking as well.

Check the scroll wheel settings on your mouse.

    Backspace key is fine (checked)
I don't use a mouse. I use a trackball (never will go back to a mouse) I don't use any extra scroll or page functions on the trackball.
The anomaly just happened again while I was trying to type this message, but the security log showed nothing. Well, I'm about to put together a new pc with the components I bought today. Hopefully that coupled with a clean install of my OS will eradicate this apparant bug that none of my software and security equipment can detect.
