I just got my latest copy of Evidence Technology Magazine. The July-August issue had a very interesting article on obtaining fingerprints from photographs. Pretty amazing (or scary, depending on how you look at it). I believe that officers can subscribe to the digital version, at no charge. It usually features at least one interesting and informative article.
