I just spent about 20 minutes trying to install the Hogue Handall on my Glock 27. I tried the hairdryer/heat method and then the detergent soap method. I gave up when my anger exceeded my good judgment, and before I tore the grip.

A word of advice, a word of experience would go a long way here. When I've mastered the installation on my Glock 23, then I'll go to my Glock 27.

I feel your frustration however the fix to this install is way too easy.

Grab a can of hairspray. Spray the inside of the rubber grip and the outside of the frame handle. SLIP IT ON.

    No, really, its that easy.

    Hey! It worked!
I tried it just about ten minutes ago. (Sunday night)
My wife was very surprised. When I asked her about the hairspray idea, she was sure that the stickiness of the hairspray would make the job more difficult, not easier.

I am sorry that I did not reply sooner... you gave me your advice more than a week ago... but this really was the first chance I had.

Thank you very much for your interest and for your advice.
