You could just stand around and watch.

Then all you would need is ear and eye protection and a signed release.

40 years ago we went to a range and I had to listen to "here comes Annie Oakley and her friend" for two years.

I too, have Lauhorner's on Saturday, but I'll be shooting for one of the Indy Glockers' teams on Sunday!

Seriously, if someone is wanting to shoot on a team, tell Festus. All you do is shoot your regular categories. Your Amateur Civilian score will be added with your two other team mates for the team score. That's all there is to it. There is a place to enter as a team and Festus will take care of that if you tell him you want to shoot on a team. Festus is a great guy and you will have fun being on one of his teams, guaranteed. Isn't that right Indy Glockers? Go team (even though I'm from Ohio, I'm an Indy Glocker!).

Darn Festus, I'd love to do it, but NJ is the same weekend. Maybe I can fax my NJ scores to Indy for the team score? LOL!!!

Hey Guys..thanks for the kind words...it's fantastic to get new people into this sport and well I feel that this is a sport worth donating some time and a little of me to help promote it and keep it going strong...I have had one response and hope that there may be continued interest...it would be great to have three Teams...Hey if some of ya get some more firsts it will be time to add a Master Stock team as well ;)

Mr.Carver and all his Team have been my mentors and well just the greatest Ambassadors GSSF could have...did I do good Don?

hell if you don't care how well i'd shoot compared to some other master stock teams i'd shoot it. can you shoot on an AmCiv and MS team both? how about some teams shirts, like on a bowling league, in bright pink or maybe yellow? everyone would sure know who we were. any plans for a saturday nite dinner? too bad my 2 picks for team members fell through, they'd made great additions.

    Hello

Does one have to be part of a team in order to shoot at GSSF?

    Where will it be held?

Where can I register,or is it too late?

Can you just bring your Glock in for service and not shoot? (having many problems with my Glock 22, got advice at NRA Convention from Glock folks, need a Glock Armorer)

    Appreciate any help

    Rotor

You do not need to belong to a Team...what day are you planning to arrive...I just traded in about (6) .40's and have lot's of parts and a box of .40 caliber American eagle ammo you can have for free....also if you have any questions at the match we may be able to help

You can register at the match, but as mentioned it's an extra $10. I don't think you HAVE to shoot the match to ask the armorer for help, but it would be the right thing to do as his services are free. Most important, you'll be able to test drive the G22 after the repairs.

Festus..nice offer to the newbie. Meeting guys like you is what GSSF is all about. I'm still trying to make the NJ match, just can't find anyone else around here interested in going. Also, I'm going to pick up a G17, maybe a 17C (with two barrels, "C" and non "C") I'm not sure if the "c" will yield a notable difference in muzzle flip in 9mm. Got any opinions?
I love my G19, but Glocks are addictive:supergrin:
