Hope to see all GSSF indoor shooters from Glock Talk on Saturday. I think it starts at 10 AM. This is a great range to shoot at. Most of the owners/staff are L/E and the match in January was run very well...these guys and gals know what they are doing. Trapfan:)

    John,

That's great. A family that shoots together sticks together. My wife hopes to give her revolvers a rest and start shooting GSSF later this year.

    ...Meanwhile on the "Left Coast"...

The Barron's Den in Eugene, Oregon is having one as well.

I will be there, so we all can shoot together, just in other parts of the U.S. of A.

Safe, and fun G.S.S.F. shooting for all.

GSSF is a great way to break some one into competition. My wife and I shoot in a fun league at the Firing Line and she really enjoys that. The indoor GSSF was a lot of fun for her and now she wants to shoot USPSA this summer. My club's matches are pretty low key and new shooters are always welcome. In fact we are doing an intro to IPSC in April for new shooters. My wife is comfortable with competition and the league has reenforced her already high safety awarness.

    John,

Now you have to talk her into a trip to an outdoor GSSF match in IN, OH or KY and a chance at one of 31 prizes. The 2003-2003 Season Schedule will be posted on www.gssfonline.com early next week.

Funny you should say that because we were talking about it this morning.

I shot pretty well this morning at the Firing Line 455 but the top score so far is 498!

    John,

The outdoor GSSF matches are about the best time you can have shooting. You can practice the three stages in advance, there are no draws from a holster and no speed reloads. They averag about 325 entries in the seven shooting categories, with Amateur Civilian being the largest at about 150. That makes it 10 prizes per 50 entries in Am/Civ PLUS the special recognition prizes of $75.00 to High Senior, High Female, High Junior Male, High Junior Female and High Challanged. With exactly 150 entries in Am/Civ, 1st, 51st and 101st win a new Glock.

I shot a 476. Better than I did last time. Once again met a lot of nice people.

Wow, I've got to hand it to you guys that are shooting in the high 400s. I could not see the rings at the far end of the course; I figured it was plan luck to get near the center of the paper. My first time and I'll be back.

It was even harder to see the lines the first time. They had the same "tombstone" target but it was from another target company. You could at least barely see the lines this time;) . The first time I had to guess were the ring was.

No, jeffs430 do most of my trap shooting at my sportsman club in the winter events. Come summer will be grinding some clays out at the MTA in Mason Mi and shooting at registered targets at local sportsmans clubs. Hope to go back and shoot the Grand American this year too. As for knowing you....I might????;Q
