Has anyone bought a Police trade in from Kiesler's Police Supply? They have Indy marked police trade in Glock 22 Gen 3 pistols for $339 with 3 mags plus shipping. I believe they traded their Gen 2 Glock 22 for Gen 3 in 2008. These pistols should be in great shape. I just ordered one. They also have like new Glock 26 mags for $10 ea. If you have a Indy police Glock please post a pic.

Haven't seen the Indy guns but did see many Detroit trades about two years ago. Police trades can be great because they have been maintained well and were generally not shot all that often. May have some cosmetic flaws, principally holster wear, but those are just beauty marks IMO.

Seems a little high on price.

Even with 3 mags, I would think about $300.

I just picked up a LE trade from our local PD, a cherry SigPro 2340 (.357)with 3 mags, heck I even knew the officer that carried it. $311 with tax

Seems like a good price to me. I have a few trade in Glocks. Never a problem. They are only usually shot to qualify with and have wear on them. Gives them character.

That sounds like a fair deal to me, especially if the night sights are still bright.

I went to their web site and wanted to buy a few of those 10 rd mags but they don't deal with the public. To bad for me I guess.

I picked up a Gen3 G22 trade for $299.... they had g30's, 23's, 17's, 17l, pretty much all models...thousands for $299. Mine is luckily stamped with GA DNR (Dept. Natural Resources) was told the DNR glocks have maybe been shot 50rounds... if that.

Keislers is a Police Supply LEO only sales organization from Jeffersonville Indiana, there LEO trade Glocks are in the $350-$380 range, no choice in what shape you get, myself and two friends bought G-27/G-22's on one copy of department official letterhead, my G-27 was a 2.5 gen and well worn, same with the other ones. Their G-22's were as new with 3 mags, mine had road rash bad on the right side of the grip. So bad I had to cover it with a Hogue. I wanted to give it back and they (Keislers) hesitated to take it, but then I traced the serial number and found it was the one my Sheriffs Academy classmates was issued and he died in a motorcycle accident (off duty) which caused the rash. I keep it the way it is now, in remembrance.

    How?
I'd like to have histories on mine, mostly showing that they are indeed mine, for the seemingly inevitable occurrence where I must prove that they are mine before the police or a judge will give them back.
