Beretta APX IMO the best value in the market.

Depends on what your criteria are. As an example for 9mm......

    Budget: S&W SD9VE or Canik TP9

    Direct Replacement: CZ10 or S&W MP9

High End: Any of the luxury brand single actions like Nighthawk, Wilson Combat, or STI.

Got a Glock 19 which shoots fine, accurate, etc. But as much as it works and I try to carry it I always put it back in the safe and go back to my SA either my XDE or a XD9 SC. They are my favorite after going through Ruger,Walther,Kel Tec,Taurus I think that's all.

Carrying a Shield these days. Still have a couple of Glocks but as EDC, they are losing out to smaller, higher capacity micro 9's and guns with better out of the box sights and features.

IMHO, nothing yet beats a G19 in terms of weight, ammo capacity and shootability.

Never did find any love for a glock . I tried a couple over them over the years but just don't care for them enough to keep one around . If I wanted a I do find the die hard brand fan boys to be a joke to . If I was going to keep a Austrian handgun around it would be a STEYR , not a glock

For polymer, especially for carry, I now generally go with HK.

I still have several GLOCKs, they are great guns, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them.

And honestly, I am sort on the lookout for a new G 23 after trading mine away a few weeks ago. Funny how that works,,,,,

If I didn't use Glock, I would probably just go back to exclusively using revolvers. I do like the M&Ps though.

Wait...what? Taboo? Since when was owning something other than a Glock pistol been a taboo? If you think that than you've been living in a bubble for waaaaay too long and you need to pop out of it post haste - and go see and experience all the things you've been missing out there in the woyld(sic)! LOL.
