... and I thought the local popcorn warehouse might have burned. Was wondering why no popcorn smell.

I am trying to get Al Gore's phone number. I want him to come to VA and tell us about global warming. He should get quite a reception.

Got about 22" here in Falls Church. Just finished my second pass with the snow blower in 16 hours and I still got snow falling at least at two inches an hour!

Listening to the scanner, the LEO's have their hands full. Trees down on I-66 between 123 and 50, trees down on Little River.

Sitting here at work in Williamsburg watching it fall. Hoping I can get the heck outta here later this evening. Worst case scenario I'll just go find me a unit to crash in, I work for a timeshare property and we've got a bunch of empty units this time of year. Not sure how I'll sleep without the G 21 being in arms reach. Stupid "No Weapons on Property Policy."

We were having a bit of a problem getting our Cul-de-sac plowed today. The plows went by 3 or 4 times on the main road, did a couple other cul-de-sacs near us but didn't come down and do ours. So my neighbor Joe and I put up a sign asking for some help. Within in 20 minutes there were 2 plows in our cul-de-sac and we quickly took the sign down before the 3rd truck could come down.

Are you sure he didn't just fall asleep at the wheel?

Guys I talked to had been working since Friday evening with a total of 5 hours of sleep.

The beer they tossed in the back of the truck, the coffee they drank.

Here we go again, hope there is still time to find milk, bread and toilet paper. Woo-hoo, Fed is closed again today. Probably tomorrow (Wednesday). At least, when the Fed is closed, they can do less harm.

Yeah I heard on the news that when the fed closes down here in DC there is 100 million dollars in lost productivity.

Funny thing is that no one notices that the "Work" didn't get done.

I stopped by Wegmans on the way home last night. Picked up bread, milk, eggs, and more beer for the plow drivers.
