When you are stating an absolute position on a matter associated with the legality of concealed/open carry, PLEASE tell us what state you're in and what the law in your state says.

Laws differ from state to state.

Your advice may be good where you live, but may be dead wrong for someone in the state right next door.

Be specific and be careful giving advice.

    Thanks

I would ask if you ask for advice either set your location to at least your state or say where you are located in the post.

I come across posts asking if this is legal or can I do X or can I carry at a park, etc...

Only to look at the OPs location and it says something cute like "Out Shooting" Almost every issue in this forum will depend on your state and sometimes you county / city.

How about buyer beware of any and all advice you receive on the internet?
Bad advice given by someone in the correct state is still bad advice.

I like to copy the actual code as well, so it's not just my opinion being viewed.

    Russ, I agree with you.

However, how about people not be stupid enough to take legal advice from an internet gun forum and go find out from a qualified source? I mean, seriously, people need to do their own research, or at least validate the advice and information they find on GT when it comes to legal matters. Just sayin.

You may say that, and that may be true in Nowhereville, USA, but that may not apply everywhere... so.. what state are you located in?
