I've seen this car SEVERAL times now... Usually speeding north on US 31 on the south side.

Black, chrome wheels, very very dark tinted windows. Spotlight on the driver's A-pillar. Chrome exhaust tips.

The thing's a Ken Brown conversion; or at least has the badge on the back. Big red badge reading "4.8L" denoting engine displacement, small Ken Brown sticker near there, too.

    "Indiana Police" license plate #11465.

Who the heck runs this car? And, more importantly, who in the world approved the money for it?

    Ideas?

Sounds like that thing is on street racer patrol down in that notorious area.

The only times that I do see this car are in the mornings when I'm on my way to work. The street-racing punks haven't come out to play, yet.

Although, with people driving ~60mph through there, I wish for speed traps every morning...*sigh*

The Sheriff and his "Chief Deputy's" used to drive car similar to that. Those cars always had sheriff plates.

I think I have seen at least one "Deputy Chief" on the new and improved IMPD driving a car like that.

The City of Indianapolis would never waste money to just buy something cool. I am sure that it is a street officer using it for a special purpose. *SARCASM OFF*

Is it possible the car was acquired via asset forfeiture of someone accused of a crime?

I certainly hope the vehicle was a seized asset... I wish they'd utilize more of that stuff, personally.

    Who knows?

anyone else seen the brand new black charger, black windows, chrome 18's or 20's. No lightbar, Hidden lights behind grill, foglights, and visors.

had to do a double take when they had someone pulled over in fishers.

    Think it was ISP?

Don't think the Marauder is IMPD. Could be MCSD, the Sheriff has one as do a few of the Center Township couldn't be's (Tony Duncan-Constable, Carl Drummer-Trustee)

Fishers has at least one marked Charger, saw it on 96th the other day.

    Party pooper... ;)

I saw an LE charger in Fishers a couple weeks ago as well. Can't for the life of me remember if it was marked or not though (clearly, I need more sleep!)

I'll give you a dollar... I tease, I tease.

I never thought about the constabulary... Now all I have to do is research into why in the world we HAVE such a position in the county! Maybe I'll run for that office next time 'round. HAH!

Gosh..I don't know why I expected anything different?

Guess that means it's not a vehicle belonging to a township constabulary, then, right?

    PS...Thanks.
