Are the 2+2 magazine extensions allowed in a GSSF match. I realize that there is a maximum amount of rounds that can be loaded into the magazines, I just don't want to have to swap out the 2+2's for the regular base plates.
    Thanks in advance.

You can use them as long as they are Glock, not aftermarket.:)

There is a new rule this year that allowd the use of polymer/plastic extended basepads of any make for all GSSF Divisions as long as they do not *** significant weight.

    From the Glock Report 2002

You may use Pearce Grip, Inc. grip extenders only on G26, G27, G29, G30, G33 and G36 magazines (this does not include the use of other similar brands of grip extenders or "magazine sleeves" as discussed further below).

You may use aftermarket replacement non-metallic (usually colored polymer) base plates on magazines, provided that they (a) do not provide any sort of competitive advantage and/or (b) do not induce malfunctions that slow the conduct of the match.

This last paragraph may allow the use of extended basepads, but that is not what Scott told me at Richmond.

Thanks for the replies,,,I'll just leave 'em on and see what happens when I get there. These 2+2 extenders are very light polymer and don't add any weight to the magazine.

It's your call, as long as you understand the three possibilities:

    1. You may shoot without problem, or

    2. You may be bumped up to Unlimited, or

    3. You may be protested and disqualified.

The closest GSSF match to me is a 300 mile round trip. I prefer not to risk disqualification.;)

Plus you could always call GSSF and ask Chris or Scott. They are the ones who settle questions. That way you would know for sure. Its your choice of course but I personally don't like having things in the back of my mind that says " am I legal or not" while competiting.
