Not a 19mm guy . If I need more energy on target over a hot underwood 40sw might as well make it a 45super as the 10mm does nothing better . For a 1911 my option would also be a LW Commander in 45acp

I’m not entirely sure, but I’d have to imagine a 19mm far out performing a 10mm or .45 Super.

1911s are 1.34 inches wide. That actually compares favorably to a number of subcompacts. Check out the table at the link below. The FNS 9 compact is 1.35 inches wide. The H&K USP Compact is 1.38 inches wide.
Got to love those 1911s. I know I do.

Not the slide, which is quite a bit thinner and the part that would go IWB.

Just slip a 1911 into a USP Compact holster and it will really show how much of a difference.
