I carried various Glocks appendix IWB for 20+ years.
Over a year ago, I transitioned to strong side IWB, I've tried various Glocks 23/22/35 repeatedly but they are just not as comfortable IWB as a 1911.
I give up, I'm stuck with carrying a 1911.

I've been considering carrying a 1911 full-time again. I have a DE but I think a Dan Wesson Valor in 10mm will do the trick!

I like the extra round capacity and KE of 10mm.
Applying the two is one, cause one might be none philosophy.
I also have a Ruger 10mm 1911

Before I got the 10mm's I had traditional 45 acp versions.
If I want to go 45 my ED Brown Special Forces or Les Baer UTC are on standby.

Have you tried a bladetech belt? I love mine, because the exterior is leather, and the internal kydex. If it can hold a G=40 with all the bells and whiles I put into it, it should hold up a 1911 just fine. I am waiting for my holster to come in for mine, and I will let you know for usre. I meant for sure, my GSD is insistent on playing fetch while I type.

Not a 1911 guy . If I need more energy on target over a hot underwood 40sw might as well make it a 45super as the 10mm does nothing better . For a 1911 my option would also be a LW Commander in 45acp

10mm = wrong caliber. Should have been a .38 Super.

I’m not entirely sure, but I’d have to imagine a 19mm far out performing a 10mm or .45 Super.
