I just got home from the salt mine and I checked my mail, and I had gotten my American Rifleman mag, I realized at that point I haven't even read last months issue. Holy Crow that's not kool at all. I used to read them at break at the salt mine, but these asswipes I work with I don't even want hem to know I have guns, so I ain't gonna bring'em to work, so I don't know when I'm gonna read'em:headscratch:

Missing out on one of life's simple pleasures there okie, reading on the throne is one of the best places to read.

I hear you. I have a stack of magazines a foot tall in my room, some American Rifleman, some SWAT, some American Legion, some others---two consecutive semesters of college have been so consuming of my time that I couldn't do anything but let them pile up.

The current issue of American Rifleman talks a little about Hillary Clinton getting started at the UN, trying to get the international gun ban treaty going again.

I do it all the time. I get a news magazine in the mail and then put it into the magazine basket near the john.

With 4 kids and 2 dogs the only place I can sit quietly for a few minutes and read my American Rifleman is on the toilet. Nobody bothers me in there.

You sit on the "throne" and read, pretty soon your legs go numb, and there you are.:wow:

I didn't read on the can, either, until I got married and had kids. Now it's the only place I can get a little peace and quiet. Gotta do something to occupy yourself when you have a little me-time on the toilet. That's where I read my American Rifleman and Guns & Ammo rags.
