    It's like car wreck, I can not take my eyes away!! Some of the hotties make it even easier to watch. I just dig curling

    what is the point of the brooms? I figure it may scruff the ice to slow or stop the stone? Some of the accuracy is amazing. I think it was the Swiss team that took out 3 stones with one shot?

    Rapid brushing causes friction which melts the ice under the broom. Rock will follow path of least resistance.

    Note also, giving the rock rotation is what causes it to curl.

    yes it was the swiss, amazing shot!

    the sweeping can speed up/slow or help curve the direction of the stone
