(EDIT: Yeah...it's "spring"; I know. I hate not being able to edit the title.)

I walk outside, and I see my boat. It pains me to not be able to enjoy it during the winter time. Yeah, sure...I could take it out. It has full curtains, and all, but my idea of fully enjoying a boat is sun/beer/babes in bikinis, ya know?

I'm ready to quit dressing layers. I'm ready to stop having to pre-heat the truck in the morning so I can defrost the damn windshield. (Poor guy here, no garage.) I'm ready for women to have to shave their legs on a regular basis and wear smaller amounts of clothing. I'm looking forward to rolling down the windows in the truck and blast some Sirius while being oblivious to the world because the weather's just great, and I'm going to go play on the water and YOU'RE at work! Hehehe.

Anyone else have a boat that they can't/don't use this time of year? Are you as ANXIOUS as I am about getting back on the water?

(What sparked this is I just got a Magma grill yesterday and I'm DYING to try the damn thing out! It's pretty awesome because it uses a quick detach mount to attach to the gunnels. I use their system with my cutting board, too, and it rocks!!!)

Darlin', I feel your pain. Two inches of ice on the deck, can't get to the
grill. My 17.5 ft. Crestliner with 125 Merc, is buried under two feet of snow. I'm moving in two weeks, and I don't even know how I'm going to
get to my boat to move it to it's new INSIDE storage. :crying:

Sawgrass (female, btw, don't freak over me calling you darlin')

And, it's TOO cold to ice fish.

That's a beauty! Congrats.!! If I lived in middle SC, I would be near
"The Isle of Palms" as much as possible. Santee maybe...

You're right, there isn't anything like a day on the water.
The only way it get better is if, you can dock, and not have to
drive. Good drinks, lots of Hawaiian Coconut Oil, Sun...a little food.

    Damn, how long until Summer???

    Wolfe, are you kidding me?
I've been meaning to ask you what color you want me to paint your room!
You've got a spot at my house and the boat any time you want it.

Well....how cool can you stand it? But...remember what I do.
I may suck at computers, but I know lots and lots about heating
and cooling. House has an outdoor hottub too. And...what's a great
    benny of being a __________ JUNE,JULY,and AUGUST!!

Heck, it's blue now!!! One more room I don't have to paint!!Yippeee!!

Oh, it was the 14 ft. flat bottom someone stole the motor off of.
The bigger boat still has go power. I have a couple of really stable
kayaks too. We can go with the current and work on those chest
muscles of yours, that are healing

USMC, picture this, Wolfe and myself, floating down the river, kayaks
bungeed together, drinking, laughing, all oiled up, working on our tans.
Wolfe's out of the sand, and we are takin' it easy!!! You could bring that
pretty new boat up the coast, thru the lakes and join us!!!
That pretty girl you got tonight would be a great Lake Superior boat.

Right now I don't tolerate anything below room temperature well at all, but I hope that improves going forward. It's sure not today, though. :yuck:

    Room's already blue, cool!

USMCsilver you can bring either boat, we don't mind. And sawgrass has great taste in beer.

Ok Wolfe, I lay in the sun at 50. It feels like heaven after a MN winter.
Funny too, because in the fall I'm cold at 50.
Just remember it is dry here. It feels warmer than those humid
places you are used to. I freeze at 40 in NC. I was SO cold
last week in CA, it was 60. Looks like Okie is hinting that
he wants to come, from all the smooching I've seen between
you two around here, he'll keep you warm.

I have four boats of sorts, and live in the land of 10,000 lakes.
USMCsilver in middle SC lives near beautiful water.

    Speaking for me....I'll pass.
