I'm on the hunt for a new G-30S whenever the LGS locates me one.

I have decided I can not like with out it, Like a fool I had one and traded it off for a G-30 gen 4 to play with a few cal conversions and now I miss the slim slide for my covert comfy carry, I could make due with the Gen 4 but why compromise when you don't have to.

Are you gonna keep the Gen4 or trade it for the new one?

    Did you get a G30S?

I'm thinking of getting a Gen 4 30, only $$ keeps me from doing so, when I
have a PPS and LCR on consignment.

You could say that my new or used Glock money is tied up in those 2 guns.

The plummeting prices of the PPS pistols keeps people from buying mine,
even though I have spare mags and holster to go with it.

Anyhow, I hope you have found or will find a G30S, they are just too light
    in the muzzle for me.

Just got one used yesterday for $450 like new! Very nice gun and recoil is not bad. None of my G19 or G23 holsters fit BTW.

I had been using my G30S slide on my Gen 4 frame but located a new SF frame and now have a complete 30S....Both my 30S and Gen 4 G30 fit in the Remora or Blade-Tech... G30S is 4 ounces lighter and noticeable when carrying all day... the G30 Gen 4 has less muzzle rise.... both are keepers.

I just ordered an iwb from pjholster.com - They are made from one single piece of kydex, very comfortable and easy on, easy off. I love them.

I just picked up a Like new used G-30S the other day on Gun Broker. Was advertised as less than 100 rounds fired. From the looks I believe it.
After I completed the sale, I talked to the owner. Her and her Husband both are shooters. He bought it for carry, when he shot it would hurt his middle finger. She is a 4'11" 90 lb. small person, and just didn't like the 45cal round.
He elected to stay with his G-23 gen2 and her with a G-19.
This is the same thing I did a couple of years ago.
I just could not take a file to a new pistol.
I am in the process of thinning down my Pistols, I am selling the full size and keeping mid size. Sold a G-21, and a EAA Witness in 45. I still have a G-17, a G-17L and a G-22.
I may just keep those, I'm not going to give them away,
A friend was working at a gun show over the weekend and
tried to sell them for me, with no takers. just low ball offers especially on the G-22.

A 17L? Those can get some good velocities out of good ammo. :D

I am really enjoying my 30SF; just sayin... ;)

I wish I could find a G-24 again, I had one a long time back, and liked it. Well I fell on hard times, and had to liquidate things, and the 24 went along with several others. I thought I would just get another one when things got better.
I replaced my G-17L, but my G-24 is still very illusive.
    I just picked up a G-30S.
I always thought a G-24 with a 357sig barrel would make a nice one to carry in the woods, or the 40 also.
Well the 10mm G-40 might work also, a 357sig barrel in it if they make one.

Some times you need to lose something to realize how good it was. That’s my case with my first 30s. Traded it off to play with another brand XDs and realized what a mistake it was. Anyway after 2 years I got another one. Saturday picked up my new 30s and a handful of 9 round magazines... with the 9 rounders the feel and fit in my hand is “perfect”. I am happy again.

IMHO the 30s is the best compromise in concealed carry. The size, weight, capacity, power, and shootability make for a nice package. It's my favorite Glock. Um, one of my favorites.

I made a trade that feels good. I traded a Springfield Mil-Spec 1911 for a nearly new G-41. I like the way the G-41 feels, and the way she shoots. I just have to change out the springs back to stock. Trigger is too light, and no wall before it fires.
He gave me the parts that he changed out, so no problem.
After I get it back like I want it she will become my new Nightstand Pistol.

Right there with you. I'm on the hunt for another one myself. It'll pair up with my 21 nicely and make a great carry on my motorcycle.

The 27 is easier to comfortably conceal than a G29 or G30 but the G30s is also more comfortable to conceal than a G29 or 30.

And the 40 with 180 grain HST's is ballistically closer to the 45 than it is to the 9 with 185 grain non plus+P loads in the 45.
