These are meant for ankle carry. ha. Actually, I love big hog legs. always have, BUT, that being said, my hands have got to the point that Everything larger than my 45LC is for the folks with hands not all busted up. Nice gun though.

.44 mag is my limit, and even 44 can be painful depending on the gun and ammo combination being shot.

I've been shooting 500 Mags since 2003, a mix of fairly heavy and a good bit of light "plinking loads" though even at the lowest end it's a lot more potent than any 45ACP+P.
The issue I'd have with that one is that muzzle blast would be really fierce with full power ammo, much worse than the 6 and 8.375" barreled guns I have. Quality double ear protection reduces "perceived" recoil. Don
Say goodbye to your hearing if ya cork that off indoors without ear pro!
Good thing is the bad guy would be deaf and blind too, assuming you miss.
