Hi all I just purchased a brand new Glock 19 Gen 4. While it is my first pistol of my own, ive shot many many Glocks (rentals and friends) over the years. I've also taken several safety and pistol courses. I got my glock home today and was field stripping it/ toying around with it and I had a bonehead move on my part due to all the excitement. I seated the RSA, but not fully and racked the slide. I ended up with the barrel sticking out the slide and the end of the rsa sticking out. The slide also was about 1/4 inch away from being able to lock back. I dry fired a few times and racked it back and forth. Eventually I was able to free the slide. (I also had the mag in - doh!!!) I did a once over and it seems like nothing was damaged. The gun racks fine, dry fire no problem. Is it possible I could have screwed something up permanently? Thank you very much.
