I have been watching the Diehard marathon on AMC and got to thinking. In the first Diehard movie, what pistol I would want to have on me in that situation. I think I would go with my CZ 85 Combat 9mm. What about you? Assuming you can use pistols made up to now? The classic Diehard?

    Traditional handgun? My 92FS.

Legal "pistol"? AR15 pistol in 300Blk with suppressor, EOTech EXPS 3.0, Surefire, Geissele trigger, neoprene buffer tube cover, good sling, as many 30rd Pmags as I could carry, and NVDs. Get some!

You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. It doesn't show up on your airport X-ray machines, and it costs more than you make here in a month.

One of those Colt Python revolvers that holds about 50 rounds. See them on TV all the time, but for some strange reason it seems that only the good guys get the really high capacity ones.

I think the Beretta 92fs he had would be just fine.

I'd be more worried about getting a hold of some boots.

If we have a clothes wishlist too, some Danners, good knee and elbow pads, clear shooting glasses, and level IIIA armor with SAPI plates would be pretty nice!

Seems like he is always engaging in long suspended fire gunfights, so I would say a g17 for the capacity.

I say the 92FS, or maybe 92A1 for something newer. That's his traditional gun in the first two. I can't speak for 3 and 4, as I don't recall what he used.

On a side note, I can't stand watching movies cut out.

DVR helps, or just get it on Netflix ;)

I'll go with your choice - 85 Combat.

Glock 17, but the beretta he had would be perfectly serviceable.
