I'd have a bunch of Chevy pickups, Pintos and Vegas sitting in the driveway.

It is comparing guns to their commiserate cars. As I have a bunch of ham and egg very common inexpensive guns, I listed very common inexpensive vehicles.

I like the above comparison of the 1911 to the Dodge Charger, probably exemplifies the tread better than anything else. A classic look, lots of horsepower, works great until you have to actually do something with it, then there are a warehouse full of both cars and handguns that do certain things better.

Anyone who claims that the simplicity and ease to work on is Glock's greatest virtue, then Glock = Volkswagen bug.

My G-19, early Gen-3 would be a Toyota Pick-up from the 90's when they were still being assembled in Japan...never fails to start, is virtually indestructible and runs forever!

    Good one. :D

I think the F150 is more like the Remington 870 shotgun. To me the whole Glock line kind of mirrors VW's.....

    G17 - Passat
    G19 - Golf
    G26 - Up
    G30 - Tiguan
    G21 - Toureg

My Glock would be a Toyota Tacoma. Rugged, reliable and just keeps on going. Which is why I own both.
