I think you're right. Those are very nice looking.
There is something about the medallion positioning on the
    SR grips that bothers me.

Im not usually in to 1911 grips that get too far away from traditional, but I really like these.

Very nice! All the more reason to dream about owning a SR1911.

Those are very nice! If I had a ruger it would sport those. I have been thinking about replacing the thick stockers on my sig, but they look so darned nice I just cant do it.

They're perpendicular to the work surface applied when the gun is sitting flat on its butt which isn't how you hold it so they appear crooked on the gun.

I wondered 'didn't anyone look at that after it was put on the gun'?

The GI medallions are oriented to the gun and look great.

Those look cool. Not much textured area, though. I wonder how they perform.

Iv been drooling over a sr1911 at my lgs. Its used for 600, which seems like a decent price. Those would look really good on it

    Nice :)

Nighthawk has a set out like that now for their 1911s that looks really nice as well.

    How do they feel?
    Are they thinner than original?
I like they way they look.

Just shot my SR1911 for first time Friday.
    First shot 10yds dead bull.
I should have put it up but kept shooting for
    another 199rnds.
Shot 200rnds of Tulammo. Not a single hiccup.

Noticed steel cases wanted to drag on magazine
    when loading. But functioned fine.

I'm holding out for a set of Ruger VZ grips, with their logo on it...
