    Probably this baby. Although I just picked up a CPO P228 that is a beauty and feels great in my hand. But, I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

    In general compacts seem to me to be the perfect size for a handgun, being both large enough to handle well and small enough to conceal.

    You could keep the G26 and use your G17 magazines when necessary.......

    I don't have a G26 or G19, so I'll have to go with the G17.

    I don't have the hi-end semi autos that some of ya'll have or my decision might be different... With that said and in regard to what I have, it would be a tough choice between my GP-100 and my S&W model 29 classic .44 mag...

    I'd keep my M&P R8. 8 rounds of .357 Magnum and I can attach a light and an optic. Also, reloads are easy with the full moon clips.
