i just picked up my 3rd glock and was just thinking if i have a versatile group in them. i had a 23 and 27 and just added a 19. i was comptemplating just getting a conversion barrel for the G23 but then i stumbled on a pretty decent deal on a used G19 so i jumped on it. i really have no aspirations of ever getting a 10mm or .357sig and in .45 im a 1911 man. i feel that the compact models offer the best of both worlds over the full sized guns with pretty high capacity and compactness. comments, suggestions, critiques, atta-boys ????

You have a great selection there. I don't care for the compacts myself. I feel more comfortable with the sub-compact. But I do agree with you if the compact feels good in your hand.

I currently only have one (G27, my favorite), but I have had a G22 and G23. If I were to add two more to my collection, I would have to go with a G20 (for potential pistol hunting) and another G27 as a spare.

If I could only have three it would be G19, G19 and G20. The irony of this is that I already have more than three and still don't have a 20.:sigh:

id go with a 34, 19, and 26. the 34 is by far my favorite glock. the 19 would be for my wife and the 26 would be for carry while at work. ill carry the 34 when not being paid for my time.

maybe id go with a 35, 23 and 27 and use conversion barrels but ive had a 35 with a 9mm barrel and shot 90% 9mm.

I like the compacts. I hate the full sizes, am not very fond of the subs either but I do like the compacts. I currently have a G32, G23, and a G19

I currently have 2 of the 3 I want. I have a G20SF when I want a long range, flat shooting powerhouse & a G17 for my everyday carry gun, which I use 24/7/365. I also use the G20SF for the everyday "house gun"...For the third, I would just a soon have another G17, or maybe a G26. Another thought is I would instead spend the "3rd gun money" for extra mags and ammo for the other two I already have. BTW, I am NOT intrested in a Gen4 model, as I much would rather have the current Gen 3 models....

    Speaking only GLOCKS,

    1. G35 - USPSA, IDPA (9mm barrel for steel challange)
    2. G21 - IDPA CDP, Bowling Pins, Stake shoots, home defense
    3. G30 - Carry

Covers the most ground for me. If not all GLOCKS, keep #1, replace #2 with 1911 (or more likely 2011) in .45, replace 3 with P2000 or P2000SK for the same reasons listed.

I'd trade the Glock 26 for a Kel-Tec P32 if it were three handguns, period....
