Staff Sergeant, in charge of a squad.
I always wanted to eventually make Sergeant Major.

In aviation if you promote to CW2, CW3 and CW4 as quickly as possible. You will have 20 years TIS when you make CW5. Of course everyone does not make CW5.20 years before you could become a Chief 5. I wonder if that changed?
Welcome to the Military Cadet, give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit. Listen to your NCOs and the men in your charge. Always lead from the front and never micro-manage. RLTWI am just a lowly Cadet right now. Hope someday to make it to O-6.
Why not CW5? The insignia is so strange few know what you actually are.WO 4 No one can mess with you!
Leaned quickly to answer a knock on the barracks door on a Saturday or Sunday with an open beer. Kept you away from the "hey you" roster. The Very First Five Times I was on Guard Duty I was picked because somebody else in my platoon was somewhere else.
I very quickly learned to be an early riser on Saturday and Sunday mornings. It got me out of the barracks and away from any "Hey You!" CQ looking for a warm body for Guard Duty.
I was also rained on those five nights. Every Single One.
Depends on how much you had before you went to WOCC as well.In aviation if you promote to CW2, CW3 and CW4 as quickly as possible. You will have 20 years TIS when you make CW5. Of course everyone does not make CW5.
Buddy of mine just retired at that rank. Said the last several years after he got his first star made all the years of BS fade away. He started in combat arms and wound up in training and logistics. Saw action in Gulf 1 in armor.Major General, since that's as high as I can go in the JAG Corps.
No gunnies are like flys, they eat sh** and bother people doing the work.I was a gunny on the Marines.
Isn't that like a 10 star general in the army?
