If all semis were banned, I'd have to carry a snubby .38, probably my S&W Bodyguard .38.
I no longer have my two 642s but I liked them a lot, too. Other revolvers would be too big for me to carry.
Five would be better than zero.
Blackhawk 4 5/8" .45 Colt or .44 Magnum (I prefer .45 Colt), Redhawk 4" .45 Colt or .44 Magnum, or just about any GP100 but with the GP100 I like the 5" stainless .357 the best.
I'm not in town so I frequently pack a revolver.... usually a Blackhawk or Redhawk in .45 Colt, depending upon mood.
Favorite load is comfortable to shoot, it drops things dead fast usually with one shot, and it's one size fits all North American critters without need to count their legs... it's Starline .45 Colt brass, 13.0 grs HS6, large pistol primer, and a 280 gr. RCBS 45-270-SAA.
I am a revolver fanatic! I'd ankle carry my charter arms .38 spl undercover. Then my J-frame 642-2 loaded up with Underwood hardcast 158 grains in my pocket. then my taurus 605 poly in a shoulder holster loaded with Underwood Extreme Hunter 357 magnum loads that have 1700 fps and kick like a mule....Finally i may be so inclined to carry my taurus Judge Poly with .410 and 45 cal loads in alternating rounds. Dang. fun thread
