You have been on armslist in Ohio haven't you?
Agreed. So many truly great feats are lubricated by a few beers.
I just moved a LNIB P226 West GER for $900.00 two days ago for a guy ... lasted about six hours.
They're only idiots and fools if no one buys. In the current market, I'm willing to wager they're pretty damn genius. That whole "buy low, sell high" thing.
It's not the seller that sets the prices. The prices are set by what buyers are willing to pay.
For anyone interested, I did see a new G22 (3rd Gen) for $490 locally, WITH Night Sights. Probably won't last long, but I'll tell ya where if you wanna look.
Are ya laughing or whining?
It will sell.
Sounds as if you are a bit butt hurt because his may sell quicker than your's.
it will sell .
If i start noticing used gen 4 glocks going for $700 where i live i may be forced to post up my g19, i've already seen what they are asking for a new fde g19 on gunbroker.
^^^^tell me about it. I have been wanting to pick up a Russian SKS and they are asking stupid prices. Gotta wait it out.
Along with the high prices, most people don't take into consideration the added accessories.
How is that may i ask? Yeah, Im butthurt cause the guy is asking 50 bucks less than mine and im including mags and lasersight, How did you guess!!
I pay $500 for blue label Glocks except for 45/10 which are $569 with my Act #235 card in Phila, PA. Blue label comes with 3 mags and for those that don't know what a Act #235 card is, it's a permit to do armed security work in the state of PA. You have to take the class which consist of memorizing the bill of rights, physical, physiological, eye exam, finger prints run through state police and a shooting qualification. I use to do armed security work.
Glock 21, Gen 3 new, $610. Only 2 in the whole town.
NO blue labels anywhere - @#$%^&*
Firearms, like real estate, are worth what they sell for. Realtors go to schools and workshops to evaluate property values, which are 1000X more varied than guns, and it still comes down to one thing, which is the number that gets picked between the buyer and seller.
This bubble's gonna burst, too. Just like 1994 and the AWB, but probably faster, because more and more folks are coming to the clear realization that little or nothing is going to be passed that'll negatively impact RKBA on a federal level.
States' laws, however...
I'm waiting to see if a local shop sells his Bushmaster lower for the $999 he has on the tag!
More then once I have sold stuff that I put a "High but reasonable" price on. They sold quickly. Sometimes I really didn't WANT to sell it. Just had to admit I had not used it......
Just like ammo--
Soon we'll be seeing "Only $650 for a used Glock!"
It will sell....
I too just bought a gen 3 Glock 22 looks like nib paid $499.00 at my lgs which is known for it's higher then the balls on a giraffe prices.
Thought it was a great deal.
$600.00 to $800.00 in NE. Ohio. That's just NUTS!
Yup. get a new 3rd gen for 499 plus tax at a local shop here also. THATS why im in awe that people are asking that much. IF someone approched me willing to pay 650 for just my used glock i would question their background.
Used to search avidly for my next deal. Check it our daily, now, instead of four or five times daily. In the last month, if ever there is a deal to be had, it's always at the other side of the state.
