    Can anyone tell me what would cause pics to show as icons rather than thumbnails, despite the folder options and advanced settings indicating to show as thumbnails? It's not all the folders, and what makes it especially irritating is that the thumbnails show and then are changed to icons.

    Visduh

    JPig

    Not sure I understand what you mean by "all profiles" but it's curious that in some of the folders some of the images show as thumb, others as icons. In other folders they are all thumbs, or all icons.

    Very bzar.

    You need to go into your Profile Manager and set folders to display thumbnails. :whistling:

    All JPG. All copied from a SD card.

    Now this is interesting. The problem folders are located on a NAS. I copied one of the folders/contents from the NAS to the 'puter drive and all pics show as desired. So, what has the NAS to do with the problem?

    Is your NAS managed with XBMC or another NAS OS?

    My point was that, on Windows, there is no such thing as a Profile Manager.

    At the time of my previous reply, you had given no info about which operating system you were on, where the files were located, or anything other than the file type JPig :dunno: - and still at this time you have not answered what operating system you are on.

    visduh = Vista
    jpig = jpg
    I'm not sure what you're talking about = I'm not sure what you're talking about

    Maybe it's cause I'm Irish but, I got his drift :supergrin:

    Oh, HAHHA. Why don't you go to plant 4 and get the core stretcher? :whistling:

    Windoze Visduh ... doesn't everyone use Windoze?

    Anywho, despite the lack of a PM, it is possible to set the folder attributes to display pics as thumbnails, not icons. Been there, done that.

    No, everyone doesn't use windows. Words mean things. :tongueout: But to solve your problem, all you have to do is go to the zipka panel, clickerize the dee-dee-dee boxen thingy, then press the big-long-keyboard-ca-chunky-thing with no lehterz on it, then clickerize "OK".

    I'm sure you know what I mean.
