Hi guys! I am going ice fishing in Minnesota for the weekend starting tomorrow. Much to my dismay, my Iowa CWP is not valid in Minnesota. I want to have some form of protection when Im there in my shanty so I am bringing my FNX .40. Im using common sense for hauling it in the car. It will be unloaded, all magazines unloaded, in a hard case, ammo in separate bag. Magazines are both 14 rounders. Ammo is Winchester bonded hollowpoints. In the shanty I will have it loaded and in the hard case. I want to have it as I am so used to being armed at all times I dont like the thought of being completely disarmed. So MN guys tell me- am I all within the law with my plans? Thanks!
