I went my local store with every intention on buying a Kahr PM9 but walked out with a G26. I'm sure that the Kahrs are good but I bought a G26 w/ns and a mag ext and after taxes it was still $40.00 less than a PM9 w/standard sights before taxes. I just wanted a gun that doesn't need a "break-in". I already have a G19 so it just made sense. Glocks are still reasonably priced!

Congrats! I have both the G26 and the Kahr PM9. You made a great choice. I really like the Kahr, but when it come to my accuracy (both with lasers), my G26 shines (short trigger over long trigger?) I carry the PM9 because of my short slim frame (mine, not the G26 ), and I can use a pocket holster.

Good choice on the G26, I have a G26 and G21SF myself and couldn't be happier. The G26 just feels "right" in your hand. That's the best I can describe it!

Both are good guns but that sounds like a good deal on the 26. Congrats.

The Pm9 is an outstanding gun, however it is specialized, if size isnt a top priority you took the better deal. Still for me you can not beat a pm9 for pocket carry. That and alot of people cant stand a Kahr trigger.

The 26 got you too? I had a Beretta 92 on layaway for months but finally decided i wanted something smaller because i already had a full size ruger P85. I considered the Springfield compact 9 (the made in Croatia one) but settled on the 26 - it is a compact powerhouse.

The gun shop let me swap and told me several times "you can only do this once!" (swap lay-aways they meant.) I didn't care because i knew i wouldn't change my mind again (and still haven't.)
